Artificial intelligence is on everyone's lips, and we're far from overdose given how much there is to say on the topic.
While some see AI as a threat, others see it as an unprecedented opportunity to rethink how we live and work. But to navigate this revolution, we first need to understand where we are... and how we got here. In our first conference on the subject, we decided to take a step back by exploring the great revolutions of the past and their relevance to understanding the AI challenge.
Our conviction on this subject is that AI is already here, and our role is to make sure we ask the right questions in order to provide the right answers.
If you prefer watching (and listening) over reading, our YouTube video is waiting for you! You'll find all the details from the conference, anecdotes, and concrete examples to get right to the heart of the matter:

Otherwise, you can read the article, but it will necessarily be more concise (and I'm not talking about elliptical trainers).
Let's start with a little trip back in time. Remember the Industrial Revolution: machines arrived to replace manual labor. A promise of liberation for humanity? Yes, but not right away. It took nearly 50 years for the first social demands to reduce working hours from 14 to 8 hours per day. In the meantime, machines had shifted value, causing the disappearance, creation, and displacement of jobs alongside a massive increase in productivity.
This same pattern repeated with the arrival of electricity, then with the IT revolution. And today, we're witnessing the emergence of a new revolution: artificial intelligence. But unlike its predecessors, this time, it's immediately accessible to everyone.
In the conference, we explore this dual nature of AI. Like any revolution, it raises legitimate fears: will it replace us? What will become of our jobs? We've asked ourselves these questions, and we answer them head-on.
AI won't replace humans, but it will shift where value lies. It pushes us to rethink what we do best: being creative, strategic, human. For example, did you know you're probably already using AI without realizing it? Whether you're checking your banking app, using facial recognition, or benefiting from purchase recommendations on an e-commerce site, AI is already here, in our daily lives.
This conference, the first in a series of four, invites you to:
Understand how history can shed light on our approach to AI.
Discover concrete examples of AI applications in business and society.
Reflect on the organizational, social, and ethical challenges it raises.
Explore the tools to adopt AI wisely, without being afraid of it.
And if you're convinced by the topic (or just curious), know that upcoming conferences will tackle hot topics like trust in AI and its environmental impact.
We're convinced that AI is much more than a technical tool: it's a global transformation. With this conference series, our ambition is to give you the keys not only to understand but also to take action in this new paradigm.
And don't forget: history shows us that those who prepare for upcoming revolutions always come out on top.
